To ignite the flame, raise the lid, then squeeze the butane bar and turn the ignition roller. This dual process ignition adds a layer of safety by allowing you to control the butane. Monitor your butane levels with a viewing window on the side of the lighter. When empty, simply flip the cover plate on the bottom to refill your butane and adjust your flame for the perfect light every time.
